BHFF AWARDS CEREMONY AND GALA
Our annual awards ceremony is very much the centerpiece
of the Festival. Mega-producer Steven Paul has called
the event “the mini-Oscars,” and it
remains a coveted event for independent filmmakers
from America and beyond.
This year’s gala stands poised to be our
most distinguished—and pleasurable—Awards
Ceremony yet. Held in the Sunset Room of the internationally
famous Beverly Hills Hotel on May 9, the night
begins with cocktails, followed by a lavish gourmet
dinner, and culminates with the awards ceremony.
The evening’s apex comes with the presentation
of the 2004 Golden Palm Award, bestowed upon the
top film of this year’s competition.
Attended by celebrities,
filmmakers, and the international press, the Awards
Ceremony is also open to all festival goers and
