FILMMAKERS DELIVER “MAGIC” AT THIS YEAR’S 2004 BEVERLY HILLS FILM FESTIVAL

BEVERLY HILLS – May 24, 2004 – At this year’s Beverly Hills Film Festival, which took place on May 6 – 9, filmmakers and filmgoers were delightfully treated to four magical days and nights of sold out screenings, and all twenty-nine films in competition, a showcase of some of the most diverse independent films shown this year, had the right “tricks” up their sleeves.

Answering a plea by Beverly Hills Film Festival organizers and advertising executives to “Let the Magic Begin” (a phrase used in the fest’s most aggressive print ad campaign to date), this year’s Beverly Hills Film Festival winners were recognized for outstanding work in independent cinema as emerging filmmakers whose promising work won the hearts and minds of the festival’s jurors and audiences alike.
